MEDICAL EMERGENCIES

If you have a medical emergency please contact your veterinarian or local animal emergency facility first. Do not contact me first. Do not wait to hear from me first. I will always insist that you seek the emergency medical assistance your animals need first. Save this valuable time and get your animal the assistance it needs immediately.

SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT

Please plan ahead when a specific time schedule must be met (planning a trip, etc.). It can sometimes take a week or more to get the appointment time that will work best.

In emergencies, do know, I will do all I can to find you time. Although, I cannot promise it will look as you envisioned it.

I truly believe in "right timing." I know from experience that the appointment time presents itself when the timing is right.  I ask your trust and faith in this as well.  Thank you.

APPOINTMENTS AND PAYMENT

An intake is always required prior to your first appointment (more about this below).

First time appointments and all house and stable calls are always an hour minimum.

After your first appointment, a minimum of 15 minutes by phone or 30 minutes at my offices in Laurel Canyon can then be scheduled. Appointments at my office are never less than a minimum of 30 minutes.

House or stable calls are required for first time appointments when a client is local (within an hour of one-way travel). This is excepting appointments for animals that have passed on when there are no other animals in the household.

I do schedule house or stable calls outside the local area at an additional fee. This fee is based on the amount of additional travel time and scheduling. Please contact me directly to discuss such arrangements.

Dependant on the type of appointment there are a few other variances:

FIRST TIME PHONE CONSULT
Payment is required before an intake and scheduling is done. Payment is made via Paypal. Upon being notified by Paypal of your payment, I will contact you by phone to do the intake and schedule an appointment time. At the scheduled time of the appointment, you will call me. All appointments begin at their scheduled time; so do make a point to call on time.

I also require photos of your companion animals and yourself prior to the intake. Photos are to be supplied via e-mail. If you do not have the ability to e-mail photos, please contact me to make other arrangements.

FIRST TIME HOUSE CALLS
An appointment is scheduled and an intake is done prior to the scheduled appointment. Payment is made at close of the scheduled appointment by cash or check.

If you prefer to pay by credit card, this must be set up at the time of the intake and must be done 48 hours prior to your appointment via Paypal.

FIRST TIME STABLE CALLS (WHEN HORSES ARE NOT STABLED AT YOUR HOME)
An appointment is scheduled and an intake is done prior to the scheduled appointment. Payment is required 48 hours in advance via Paypal.

OFFICE APPOINTMENTS
My office is located in Laurel Canyon in a small, animal friendly office downstairs from my residence. I only suggest animals who do not experience stress due to travel related anxiety be seen there. Severe stress of this nature can and most likely will have a serious negative impact on your session. I only have space to accommodate dogs, cats and small caged animals. All animals that fall outside of these parameters must remain as house or stable calls. Please be advised that although the waiting area and entrance are in the garden there is no fencing at the top of the hillside so please keep your dogs leashed and all other animals contained in their carriers. Cats must be in a carrier.

ALL PAYPAL PAYMENTS
This is accepting first time phone appointments where payment is required in advance (see above). In all other instances where payment is made via Paypal, I must receive notification from Paypal of payment 48 hours prior to the scheduled time of the appointment. If I do not receive this notification in time, I will need to reschedule your appointment. This will be done once payment notification has been made.

CANCELLATION POLICY

A minimum of 48 hours notice is required for cancellation or you will be charged for the time scheduled. Cancellation must be made by phone.

FIRST TIME APPOINTMENTS

Prior to the first scheduled appointment, an intake is done. Intakes usually run about 15-30 minutes. The intake is required in order to keep your scheduled appointment. Information gathered during the intake figures prominently in the preparation work I do for your appointment. During the intake I will ask some basic questions about you and your companion animals. I will include some brief instructions for the appointment and am also happy to answer any questions you might have about the whole process. Questions you have for your animals will be addressed during the actual appointment.

I follow-up the intake with a confirmation e-mail.

Sometime within 48 hours of your appointment I will spend time in meditation or journeying to set up and gather the tools and information needed for our meeting. This time will guide me to specific crystals and other tools to be used or methodologies to be employed in our work together.

Please know that more often than not this kind of work is a process. As you may know from your own experience with therapists and/or holistic practitioners, rarely are significant issues resolved in a single appointment. Often it is more like peeling an onion to get to its core. Therefore, it can sometimes take a period of time and different modalities of assistance to lead to significant healing. Expectation of a specific result or time of resolution is best disposed of prior to embarking upon this path. The less expectation of any kind the more likely miracles are to occur.

Following the appointment, dependant on what came up during the work, we will either set up a brief time to check in or I will follow up with a call within a week or two of the appointment. This time is included with each appointment.

PHOTOS (applies to phone consulatations only)

Photos of all the animals in the household are required (even if we are only working with one animal). A photo of any human who participates in the consult must be included. Photos of all humans in the household can be very helpful as well. I will explain this more during the intake.

All photos must be very current (within a month). A photo in which I have a clear close view of the face and eyes is needed and another full body photo. I need one each of these for each animal.

The animals should be photographed individually as should the humans.
I may also request older photos dependant on the situation.

When communicating with an animal that has passed, I would prefer photos at different stages of their lives.

I like to keep photos updated on a yearly basis unless there has been significant change of any kind within that year (death in family, illness, divorce, addition of new family members, a move, etc.) and then I request an update of photos for your next appointment following these changes.

EXISTING CLIENTS

Appointments can be scheduled by phone or via e-mail. Dependant on the amount of time that has passed a brief intake may be needed and/or new photos may also be needed. For regular clients with pre-existing payment arrangements, those terms still apply unless you have been personally notified otherwise.
